Those nights members knew Tom would be at the club were extra busy, we always needed a second bartender!

What can Tom bring to your restaurant or event?

  • Experience - with over 25 years of experience in musical entertainment, he has the comfort and humor required to make any event enjoyable.
  • Sensitivity - always aware of the room, Tom endeavors to entertain without being obtrusive or overwhelming with his volume, yet loud enough to welcome patron participation.
  • Sales Awareness - Tom knows that his job isn't just to entertain, but to assist venues in turning a profit. Tom is quick to build a following, and understands keeping the crowd in their seats for an extra drink or that special dessert.
  • Variety - Tom has an ever-expanding playlist of over 300 songs from a wide spectrum of genera that will be sure to please patrons of all ages. His youngest fan is four (read about it here) and he has many friends of advanced age that would come see him perform each week.
  • Quality - sound quality is of utmost importance, and Tom has built his gear collection to reflect this. Able to provide PA and lighting for small patios up to large halls. Tom uses Bose and Fishman PA equipment, and plays Taylor guitars.
  • Spacial Awareness - Tom can work within small spaces, 5ft. by 5ft (including lights if needed) which is the space of a cafe table. This small piece of real estate and a single 12v plug is all that is required.

About Me

Tom has spent the last 8 years as the Saturday evening entertainment for the greatest cafe in all of Los Angeles, Think Cafe San Pedro. Tom has also played at various professional and corporate events in and around Los Angeles, as well as a steady gig at the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club and many home concerts and holiday events. Although he enjoys playing anywhere, his heart is with those who toil in the restaurant field... restaurants are his favorite venues.

He loves scanning the room and making sure each patron hears something that will get their head bobbing and put a smile on their lips, and getting them to hang out for "one more drink" because the music is so good.

Tom has had the pleasure of playing with many world class musicians, such as Caleb Quaye       (guitarist, Elton John), Russ Lewark (Kahuna Cowboys), Jerome Gaw (Brit Rodriguez band) and his latest partner of 6 years, Jeff Gray.

Upon graduating from UCLA with a degree in Philosophy, Tom spent fifteen years as Music Pastor at Hope Chapel San Pedro, a home church that quickly grew to become the largest protestant church in San Pedro. Through hard work, perseverance and lots of humor, he built the music department from three individuals to a team of 50 musicians, vocalists and audio/visual technicians that held services four times a week.

For the last ten years, Tom worked in the trenches of L.A.'s music scene as a music coordinator at Fox Sports as an integral part of the administration and production of music pieces for the country’s most popular and revenue producing sporting events over the last nine years – NASCAR, NFL Super Bowl, MLB World Series, MLB All Star Game, College Bowl Championship Series, US Open of Golf, UFC, UEFA, and various weekly national shows broadcast on both Fox and FS1.

If you watched a sporting event on your local Fox channel in the last ten years, Tom was involved in making your experience enjoyable!
